EXPORT SUPERVISOR
Job Title: Export Supervisor

Job Summary
To personally undertake tasks and supervise the work of others to ensure the Export and other Operational divisions completes tasks on time, efficiently and effectively. Specific tasks undertaken and overseen by the Export Supervisor include picking, packing and despatch of customer orders to Vado customers Worldwide.
This involves being part of a supervisory team which supports the Managers within the Operations Group and includes taking on additional responsibilities during times when the Packing Manager or other supervisors are absent. The supervisor also has responsibility to ensure safety standards are met and Company Policy is followed within the Warehouse.
There is a need for a flexible approach to work patterns to include overtime as the workload demands, also there will be times when you will be required to carry out work at Cheddar.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate closely on a day-to-day basis with the Packing Manager to allow the allocation of resource effectively based on daily/weekly demands.

Keeping KPI spreadsheets up to date and computer processing of orders using Excel, BC and WMS.

Ensuring the Export team pick and pack orders with 100% accuracy and to the compliance of customs in the receiving countries.

Housekeeping of Export Pick, Pack and Despatch area, and ensuring Company Standards are adhered to with regards to waste segregation and housekeeping when replenishment & inventory handling tasks are undertaken.

Provide support and guidance to the team to ensure targets and objectives are met on time, in line with overall objectives and specific set objectives, and to the company standard.

Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and responsible manner and in line with the Company’s Health and Safety policy.

Contribute positively into the Operations group, including close co-operation with other supervisors and Managers on a daily basis, absence cover for other Supervisors or for Managers when needed, and input into process & resource planning and change management & implementation.

To help carry out inductions, training, development, coaching, and performance management of employees, including agency staff.
