As it seems lockdown has turned us all into DIY pro’s and scrolling through social media is at an all time high, we wanted to share our top 6 Home Instagram accounts to give you inspiration for your next bathroom update. Whether you are looking to freshen up with new accessories, give the walls a quick lick of paint or planning a brand-new renovation, following these accounts is a must!
@lovetearsandteepees
Lucy had undertaken a gorgeous Victorian home renovation project and the results just simply speak for themselves. Every room is Pinterest worthy, with our favourite part of course being the bathroom, where she never fails to spark our bathroom-envy! Lucy’s tranquil bathroom is finished off with our luxurious VADO brassware in Brushed Gold, which if we do say so ourselves, looks stunning!
@victoriaroadrestoration
Named as one of the best Instagram renovation accounts to follow by the Evening Standard, Lucy and Dan’s account is not one to miss! If you are looking for some inspiration on how to add colour to your home or even just slice of brightness added to your feed, Lucy and Dan’s home beautifully demonstrates how to add character and personality in a way which is fun, yet modern and luxurious.
Not only is their house a home, but it is also a popular photoshoot destination providing backdrops for advertising campaigns, filming and editorial shoots. Lucy tells us in one of her posts she likes getting insight into how other people would style their house, just like how @welovehomeblog styled up their bathroom transforming it from a dark teal to bright pink! @natalienicholsondesign
Natalie is an incredibly talented bathroom designer and shares many CAD designs and final outcomes that she has worked on for clients on her Instagram. We are always so excited whenever we see Natalie has tagged us in a post, as we know it is just going to be a haven of luxuriousness!
Natalie’s Instagram is a must follow if you are stuck for ideas or not quite sure what look you want to go for in your new bathroom. Natalie works to many different briefs from her clients and produces a great variety of bathroom design schemes, all with their own individualities to help spark your inspiration. We also love the fact she has our VADO products in her own home, and we say if a bathroom designer approves then you know you are onto a winner!
@emilynorrishome
Emily Norris is best known for sharing her life through her Instagram and YouTube platform @mrsemilynorris, sharing the realities of being a Mum with three young boys. The Norris family have recently made an exciting move and have started the process of renovating their forever home. We have been following their renovation journey from the beginning, hearing the exciting plans they have for their new home and let just say, we think this is going to be one big transformation!
With plans to renovate each room in the house, one of Emily’s first projects was updating their family bathroom into a Jack and Jill ensuite, connecting her two older son’s bedrooms. Combining Brushed Black and Brushed Gold brassware from our Individual by VADO collection, Emily has created the ultimate bathroom of dreams!
@charterleahome
This beautiful renovation of Katharine’s Edwardian home strikes the perfect balance of a traditional aesthetic combined with modern accessories and colours, perfect for those looking for inspiration on how to get the ‘moditional’ trend right.
Whilst renovating the upstairs of their home, the Charterlea family were without a bathroom for four months having to take daily trips to the gym for shower! However, the hard work was certainly worth it, as Katherine and her husband have created the ultimate in bathroom goals through their home, each with their own style, as well as being home to our amazing VADO products.
Our favourite bathroom transformation from @chartleahome would have to be their guest ensuite, where they have created a stunning, spacious bathroom that is only 1.1m wide. We don’t think they will be able to get rid of their guests once they get to use this beautiful space!
@holly_oak_house
Anna Jennings’ success story began by searching Instagram for inspiration on her own renovation project at Holly Oak House. In 2019, Anna started her bathroom renovation, and this was when @holly_oak_house was created. The account quickly grew, and it’s no wonder why. Every aspect of the project so far has been finished to perfection, and the results are breath taking.
During her renovation project and after struggling to find the perfect vanity unit, Anna drew up some sketches of what she wanted and sent them over to her trusted cabinet maker. Once the pictures of the finished piece had been posted on her Instagram, she started to receive daily messages from people asking where the unit was from.
From these enquiries and the proven popularity of the vanity units, Anna spotted a gap in the market for bespoke cabinetry and decided to join forces with her cabinet maker to set up an online shop to sell their gorgeous products. This account is definitely worth following!
